Unitrans Africa Zambia looking after learners

Unitrans Africa Zambia is dedicated to addressing social and environmental concerns in our day to day business operations as well as our immediate community and environment as a whole. We are proud to have been able to donate fertilizer to the Kabanje, Nakambala and Flamboyant special schools.

These schools not only look after the kids’ education but also have agricultural projects. The produce ensures that all kids receive at least one balanced meal per day, and is also sold to supplement their income.

Unitrans Africa Zambia used this opportunity to raise road safety awareness among the pupils with regards to the upcoming cane haulage season. The agricultural projects, maintained by the children, will help teach them responsibility and keep them active and off the haulage roads. We believe it is our social responsibility to strive for continuous community development while also ensuring the health and safety of the environment and all parties directly or indirectly influenced by our business activities.
