The 2020 Cane haulage and loading Season has started!

2020 Season has started off and Cane haulage and loading has started! Unitrans Malawi Operations pre-season trainings were adapted and aligned with all COVID 19 Precautionary measures in place and kicked off during the month of March 2020.

Increased training sessions with operations and workshop crews contributed to a keen sense of excitement in anticipation of the expected start-up. Close to 600 employees received broad based training ranging across a wide array of topics. From operational performances, Safety Standards, Community Awareness and Human Resources, no stone was left untouched in ensuring the Unitrans Staff were geared to perform at the high levels customers have come to rely on.

At Nchalo, this includes the implementation of new fleet complement and increased land preparation activity. Combing both state of the art agronomy practices with innovative supply chain solutions technology ensuring maximum performance standards.

Unitrans Africa Malawi looks forward to the year ahead.
