The 2020 Season has started off well with Cane haulage and loading in full swing! Unitrans Tanzania operations pre-season trainings were adapted and aligned with all COVID 19 precautionary measures in place and kicked off during the month of March 2020.

With increased training sessions for operations and workshop crews, a keen sense of excitement hung in the air in anticipation of the expected start-up. Close to 350 employees received broad based training ranging over a broad array of topics to ensure everyone is geared for a successful 2020 season. From operational performances, Safety Standards, Community Awareness and Human Resources, no stone was left untouched in ensuring that all Unitrans Tanzania staff were geared to perform at the high levels customers have come to rely on.

At Unitrans Africa Tanzania, this includes the implementation of new fleet units combining both state of the art agronomy practices with innovative supply chain solutions technology, ensuring maximum performance standards.

Unitrans Africa Tanzania looks forward to the year ahead.
